For example, folding clothes, holding eggs without breaking them, with no fixed shape and about force, I personally think this "force control" is more difficult than torque sensing. The next step is the key leap for robots from "being able to move" to "being able to do things." Moreover, the path for robots to enter ordinary households is very clear: first industrial, then commercial, and finally households. Currently, industrial scenarios have already been successfully implemented, but industrial scenarios only require torque sensors, while the complexity of household scenarios will have to wait for tactile sensors to truly mature. When we see robots starting to grill skewers in the Spring Festival Gala, we know that tactile sensors and robots are not far from entering our lives. However, how strong is the expectation for 2026? I believe it won't be too fast, but it's on the way.
